  11. This modification allows the TM-431A transceiver to transmit and 
  12. receive from 420.000 MHz through 444.975 MHz with essentially full
  13. power throughout the band.

  16. 1. Disconnect power
  17.  
  18. 2. Remove top cover
  19.  
  20. 3. Locate a green jumper wire sticking out of the front panel 
  21.    assembly (behind VFO switch)
  22.  
  23. 4. Cut the jumper in half and insulate the ends 
  24.  
  25. 5. Assemble radio
  26.  
  27. 6. This will reset the microprocessor and you will have to 
  28.    reprogram all channels
  29.
